WalkStyles Connects Walkers in 50 States
Next stop — Montpelier!!
WalkStyles would like to let CityBlogUSA bloggers, readers and visitors know of an upcoming opportunity to connect with others who have the same interests as you. If you like to walk, hike or jog, this is for you. WalkStyles and the WeWhoWalk Tour, a national tour through all 50 state capitals to promote wellness and community through walking, will be in Montpelier on Tuesday, Aug. 21!
Sue Parks, WalkStyles CEO and tour director, along with WalkStyles’ Montpelier ambassador, Cindy Anderson, owner of Jazzercise Fitness Centers in Montpelier and Woodbury, will lead a 5-mile walk on a save and scenic route that highlights Montpelier. It’s free to participate (and receive a free t-shirt and light breakfast), but you must register for a free membership at www.walkstyles.com by Monday, Aug. 20, to do so.
The tour is in relation to the recently re-designed WalkStyles’ website, www.walkstyles.com, which is a free social networking site designed to connect walkers and those who want to live a life of wellness through walking.
If you love to walk and want to meet new people, become a free member on www.walkstyles.com by Aug. 20 (which automatically registers you for the walk), grab your walking shoes, and meet at the Noble Lounge, Vermont College, 36 College St., at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 21. See you then!
